The children in Amethyst have planned and carried out an investigation into what happens to the body (particularly the heart) when we engage in physical activity. This was done with us testing our resting heart rate and comparing to the heart rate we recorded after doing different exercises. It was a sunny day, so we did most of this outdoors!
