Opal Class asked Jenna if they could make bird feeders at forest school this week. They made some fat balls and some bagel seed hangers. They put them high up in the trees for the birds to find. After that, they looked at some books that help us to identify birds and had a look into the sky to see if we could spot any of them. A lovely neighbour to school brought us a birds nest to have a look at. The children were fascinated by how the bird had made circles with the grass, twigs and hair. They thought it looked very comfy and cosy.
